Okkatots Baby DepotOkkatots Travel Baby Depot

The Okkatots Baby Depot is designed for travel. It’s therefore got more than enough space for two kids worth of gear. It opens like both a clam and a suitcase too so everything is easily accessible. It has plenty of external pockets and it’s straps are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. You can read my full review here.

Ju Ju Be Be Prepared

Ju-Ju-Be Be Prepared

One of my favorite Ju-Ju-Be bags, the Be Prepared tote has no less than 17 different compartments. It can comfortably hold up to ten diapers and its deep side pockets are perfect for regular use items. For extra heavy days, it also has a padded shoulder strap. Like most Ju-Ju-Be products, it’s ultra stylish and can be found in over fifteen different styles.

Skip Hop Duo Double Deluxe

Skip Hop Double Duo

Like the bestselling Duo Deluxe, the Skip Hop Double Duo Deluxe is a stylish and versatile diaper tote that’s excellent value at just under 80 dollars. It has sixteen pockets and more than enough space for two babies worth of gear. It also has magnetic closures throughout for silent access (ideal for keeping everyone asleep). My favorite thing about the bag however would have to be its understated style, looking just as good on a man or a woman.

What Makes the Perfect Diaper Bag for Two Kids

Lots of Compartments

If you’re going to be carrying a lot of stuff around, you need a bag that helps you to keep everything organised. Some diaper bags have to be practically turned upside down to find anything. Others keep everything accessible and visible from the moment you open them. Needless to say, you should look for one of the latter.

Easy to Carry

More baby gear means more weight. Parents of more than one baby should therefore look for a bag that’s as comfortable as possible to carry. This generally means a backpack diaper bag but there are a few other possibilities. Look for a diaper bag with straps that are both adjustable and cushioned. Stroller straps are also ideal.

Unless we’re talking about twins, parents of two babies typically use a diaper bag for a year longer than parents of one child. This means two things. First off, don’t be afraid to spend a little more, you’re going to be carrying the bag for a long time. And secondly, limit your search to bags that have a reputation for being long lasting.

Suitable for Dad

Some dads refuse to carry a diaper bag but this isn’t an option for a father of two. The amount of gear needed for a day out means that your babies father will probably be using your new diaper bag almost as much as you do. Try to remember this when making your choice. Skip the faux leather frills in favor of a unisex design that won’t cramp his style.
